This annual event allows the NEU's black members to discuss
and address issues of race equality, education, and the workplace.

The Conference plays an integral role in ensuring
that the NEU's work is in the interests of its black members.

For the NEU, the term 'black' refers to people of
Asian, African, Caribbean and other minority ethnic groups
who may experience racial discrimination.
